COMPETITION:
Virtual competition "It'sNotTooLate" ("ჯერარარისგვიან") was organized by Tbilisi Architectural Forum (თბილისის არქიტექტურული ფორუმი) and Anti-Techture (ანტი-ტექტურა) for redisigning the facades of the Private Art Gallery which is located in the very center of city Tbilisi, Rustaveli av. #7. The building is still under construction and it's controversial design was the subject to discuss. As the orginizers say it's not too late to redisign the facades.

TASK:
Redesigning existing facades of the building.
CONCEPT:
Contemporary Art Museum has to serve contemporary art. It shouldn’t be hidden under pseudo-old-style shell. The construction can be stopped and design can be changed at the current phase while the building is still unfinished. It’s not too late...
to use the raw concrete walls of the building as a canvas. A canvas for graffiti, art installations, light projections, green walls etc.
Every year the jury will select the best design of the wall for the next year. Museum space will not only be enclosed inside the walls, but the exhibition will come outside. The building will become more social.
New facade, new masterpiece every year!
