Founded in 1971, ARAUCO is a global leader in the production of pulp, panels, and lumber from sustainably managed forest plantations.

Over the years, ARAUCO has grown in size and stature from a pulp manufacturer with two mills in Chile to a multi-national, integrated, forest products leader with 37 mills in 6 countries, and 1.6 million hectares of sustainably managed forestland.

In addition to its North American operations, ARAUCO maintains manufacturing facilities and sustainably managed plantation forests in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay.
